Mathematical Optimization and Control for Industrial and Societal Challenges in Sub-Saharan Africa
About the Workshop
The main objective of the workshop is to explore how mathematical optimization and control theory can be applied to solve real-world challenges in logistics infrastructure, financial inclusion, and environmental management. It aims to equip postgraduate students and early-career researchers with both foundational knowledge and practical tools, while also building lasting research partnerships.
Eligibility Criteria: Please note that abstract submissions and participation are specifically restricted to applicants affiliated with institutions in Sub-Saharan Africa and the UK.
Key Themes
- Foundations of Combinatorial Optimization & Metaheuristics
